Alistair creates kinetic hanging mobiles and sculptures from recycled metal and found objects.
After a long career as an editorial and advertising photographer Alistair wanted to finish a house renovation project off with a large Alexander Calder-inspired kinetic mobile. Unable to afford an original, he decided to create his own. He loved the process of playing with structure and balance, developed his own style and continued to create and sell more pieces.
In 2023 he decided to transition into a full-time sculpture career.
Alistair is inspired by the natural world around us to make these simple, but profoundly calming sculptures.
