Waterbased natural pigments, conté, glazes on birch wood

Annemarie makes some of her own colour pigments from natural dyes using plant sources - roots, berries, bark, leaves, wood, herbs and spices. Minerals, iron oxide and other biological sources such as fungi and lichens. Chalks and limestone with some of the whites. Blues include yinmn blue  which is chemically stable, and is non-toxic, retaining its vibrancy in oil and water. 

She works on paper, wood panels, linen and natural fabrics.

Her work is held in public and private collections in Ireland and England, private collections in France, Italy, Holland, Germany, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, USA,  New Zealand, Canada and El Salvador.

All works are original and limited editions of prints signed and stamped.

Lino , monoprints and woodcuts limited editions are hand burnished, polished and Illuminated
